At Brick By Brick Home Inspection LLC, we provide transparent pricing designed to fit homes of all sizes in Fort Wayne and the surrounding communities. The pricing for a Complete Home Inspection includes a photo-rich, highly detailed and thorough report, as well as time to go over the report in person or on the phone. We will show you how to turn off all major utilities, change the furnace filter, and how to safely operate your home. We also offer additional services that offer other insights into your home including radon inspections, water testing, mold testing, and wood destroying insect (WDI) inspections.

Up to 1,000 SqFt: $350
1,000 to 1,500 SqFt: $400
1,500 to 2,500 SqFt: $450
2,500 to 4,000 SqFt: $500
4,000 to 5,000 SqFt: $550
5,000 to 6,000 SqFt: $600
Additional Inspection Services
Radon testing: $130 - Radon is a naturally occurring, radioactive gas from uranium in soil and rocks that you can't see, smell, or taste, but it can seep into buildings and build up indoors. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, and I would encourage everyone to get their home tested, so that it can be mitigated if necessary.
FHA/VA/USDA Water quality testing: $150 - Some lenders will require a water quality test for certain loan types, usually if the property is fed by well water. It can also be useful just to know what is in your water. This tests for E. coli, Coliform, Lead, Chlorine, pH, Nitrates, and Nitrites.
Mold swab testing: $125 (+$50 each additional location): - This is a diagnostic method used to collect samples from surfaces suspected of harboring mold, which are then analyzed in a laboratory to identify specific mold types and concentration levels.
Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspection: $125 (Free for military members) - This is a visual examination of a property's accessible areas to detect active or previous infestations of termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, and wood-boring beetles. Military Members: We provide your WDI (termite) Inspection free of charge. Thank you for your service to this great country!
Outbuilding inspection: $50/building - This is a comprehensive inspection of the outbuilding, whether that is a detached garage, shop, pole barn, etc.
Homes built before 1930: $50 - Homes built at or before 1930 have unique issues, and tend to take more time.
Pre-listing inspection display folder: $50 - This is a full color print out of your inspection report inside a folder with a cover page. This is especially useful to have out at an open house to provide transparency and trust between you and potential buyers for your home.
